What happens if I exceed my call limit?
We don’t cut you off. Calls above your limit are billed at £0.95 each — no per-minute charges. We’ll flag it on your dashboard and recommend a plan change if it’s happening every month.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Onboarding, PMS integration, voice setup and knowledge base build are all included. We’ve never seen a SaaS setup fee that wasn’t a margin grab.
How long is the contract?
Solo and Practice are month-to-month. Group plans are annual to fund the custom integrations and dedicated support. Cancel any time with 30 days’ notice.
Do you charge per minute or per call?
Per call, on overages only. The monthly fee covers your typical volume completely. We don’t want a pricing model that punishes you for being busy or rewards us for keeping callers on hold.
Can I trial it before I commit?
Yes. 14 days, full functionality, real calls. You can divert just out-of-hours calls during the trial if you’d rather not test on your main daytime traffic. Cancel by day 14 and pay nothing.
What about NHS practices?
dentdial works with NHS, mixed and fully private practices. Triage rules and language can be tuned for NHS UDA scheduling, FP17 prompts and band-by-band pricing if relevant.
Do you handle complaints?
We capture and flag complaints — we don’t resolve them. Every complaint is routed to your named complaints lead, with full transcript, and logged for your GDC-compliant complaints register. Resolution stays with the practice.
Is patient data safe?
UK-hosted, encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We sign a UK GDPR DPA with every practice. Recordings retained for the period you set. Full detail on the security page.
